Mini Course Information
This primer in physician advocacy and family planning policy engagement provides a foundation in the importance of physician advocacy and the various ways in which physicians inform and advance reproductive health policy. Advocacy is broken down into nine primary spheres, a novel framework developed by Dr. Sarah Horvath in collaboration with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

- Describe the important role of obstetrician-gynecologist advocacy in influencing family planning and abortion policy
- Identify opportunities for advocacy and policy training and engagement
- Develop innovative strategies for identifying and engaging in advocacy to protect and expand family planning at the community, institutional, state, and national levels
