Mini Course Information

In this mini course, nationally recognized OB/GYN physician advocates and alumni of PRH’s Leadership Training Academy (LTA) informally share their experiences with advocacy and policy engagement, provide lived experience on key components of influencing policy change, and offer advice for novice and emerging physician advocates.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the important role of obstetrician-gynecologist advocacy in influencing family planning and abortion policy
  • Develop innovative strategies for identifying and engaging in advocacy to protect and    expand family planning at the community, institutional, state, and national levels
