Rotation Goal: To practice patient-centered family planning care in the outpatient environment. Residents will develop skills in basic gynecologic and obstetrical ultrasonography, management of pregnancy of unknown location, nondirective pregnancy options counseling, and early laparoscopic skills via bilateral salpingectomy procedures. The rotation is designed to provide a comprehensive experience in the clinical management and treatment of women with reproductive health conditions as well as foundational education in abortion care.
