This coursework, adapted from the Ryan Program curriculum, provides an overview of contraception; abortion care, including basic information on surgical abortion and medication abortion; early pregnancy loss diagnosis, counseling, and management; policy; and reproductive justice. Some of the modules on contraception, such as the LARC Insertion and Removal Mini-Course, will be accessed via a separate course on Innovating Education’s website, but should still be completed as part of this family planning elective rotation.
