“As I started to do gender inclusive sex education and pelvic physical therapy education, it became very apparent that there was a need for anatomy illustrations that didn’t come in only two varieties. Plus, those two varieties were always labeled with terms that can trigger dysphoria. Ugh. And then I started to also see that the stress and trauma that can come with medical examinations can also be triggered with really medical/realistic looking anatomy. That’s no good.

I want people to feel safe and engaged in my offices and events! So, I made my own images.”
